Your metrics digest is set like a galley proof: warm paper, wide margins, numbered lines. An unseen copy editor reads every line in the background, leaves exact typographic proof marks (caret, squiggle, circled figure, margin query) and hands the final call to a human who initials the page.
The camera pans down the galley, top to bottom, while the headline sets line by line. On the downbeat before the drop, a grey pencil "?" is circled in the margin and "editor: nobody" types in with steps().
The old line is struck through and pigtailed left-to-right (stroke draw-on, 0.5 s power2.inOut). On the drop the coral insert caret stabs up and "Acme Pulse" drops into the line with the mark above it.
Teal ticks land down the rows on every hi-hat; row 05 gets a crawling squiggle and a circle, then a leader line draws right to the margin query. The query types in on bar 3; on the next downbeat the human taps "Roll back" and initials the box.
The galley slides up and away; the clean page settles. Tagline sets word by word on beats; the teal "OK TO SHIP" stamp thumps on the final downbeat with a 2-frame 1.06 overshoot, then the coral button fades up.
Everyone recognises the spell-check squiggle and the editor's red mark, so the proof moment reads at 1:1 with the sound off. The editor never rewrites the page; the human initials it. Risk: drifting into the hand-drawn look; keep every mark typographic and exact.
Adapt to your product: Set your own report, invoice, config or changelog as the galley and let your product's finding become the margin query. The human action becomes the initials box.
